The Diddymen
DICKY MINT - This character was based on Ken Dodd himself and always carried a Tickling Stick. NIGEL PONSOMBY SMALLPIECE - Nigel was the very well spoken Diddyman with a top hat and morning suit. MICK THE MARMALIZER - This was the Irish Diddymen and he was always very aggressive. HARRY COT - Harry came from Somerset and was regarded as a country yokel. He always wore a Farmer's smock and carried a pitch fork. HAMISH - The Scottish Diddyman with a kilt LITTLE EVAN - The Welsh Diddyman who only joined the series towards the end of 1969.
